3D Artist for Animated Features, TV Series and Games

The 3D Artist programme is designed junior European professional character, layout and concept designers, modelers and digital artists wishing to develop and perfect their skills under the supervision of top industry professionals from the world’s best animation and game studios.
Through a series of lectures and exercises using MAYA software, participants will attain the exact professional requirements and quality standards expected to work immediately at any 3D animation or game company.
Though there will be an introduction to using MAYA, the ideas and theories approached during this course will transcend any particular software and give students a skill set that can be applied to any number of animation platforms.

Concept Design Master Class

The Concept Design Master Class is designed for professionals within the audiovisual sector wishing to develop their concepts for a cross- and trans media project and exploit the huge potential in cross media content. The course will be taught and supervised by top industry professionals from the world’s best animation and game studios.
During the two weeks of the course, concept design lectures and workshops will alternate with cross media case studies as well as idea generating sessions. The course is project-based which means that participants must apply with an idea for a project for which they will develop character and set designs and pitch material.
